Graham McTavish, P.Eng
Ali Pourghasemi, P.Eng
Mr McTavish is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience
and the last 20 years has been specialized in
providing Project Delivery and Construction Management
solutions to clients in the North American Generation
and transmission industry. He has successfully
managed many multi-million dollar projects in Canada
and Internationally.
With his extensive experience in transmission projects
and interconnections, Mr. McTavish has become proficient
at providing solutions to clients that interconnect
their facilities into the North American Grid, and he has
worked in, or consulted to the Utility, Oil & Gas, Renewable,
Mining, and Forestry industries.
As an electrical engineer, Ali has worked on Oil&Gas and
commercial electrical design before he moved to HV electrical
construction.
With more than 10 years of on-site construction experience, he
believes the key to best decision making is working from the job site
and being connected to the construction team.
As a project manager for EPC projects, he strongly believes in
continuity and end to end involvement.
He has delivered successful EPC projects by working closely with
clients and in-house contributors to make sure all stakeholders are
aligned.
Ali is an engineering Graduate from University of New Brunswick.
When he isn’t working, you’ll find Ali traveling the world to see new
perspectives and explore cultures.
